Annual Awards Honor Bulls Making an Impact
A long standing tradition at the USF Alumni Association is to annually recognize outstanding alumni and community leaders who have made a significant contribution to the university and the community.

Class of `56 Award
Since 1981, the Class of `56 Award has recognized an individual who did not graduate from USF, but who has proven to be a friend of the university by rendering distinguished service over an extended period of time.
Recipients of the above awards are announced in the summer and are honored at an awards program during USF Homecoming Week in the fall. They are also recognized on the field at the Homecoming football game. Nominations for these awards may be made by alumni, university friends and community members. Outstanding Young Alumnus Award
The Outstanding Young Alumnus Award was established in 1994 to recognize an alumnus age 35 and younger for his or her professional accomplishments and engagement to the university.
Starting this year, Outstanding Young Alumni will be recognized at a new ceremony designed to focus the spotlight on multiple up-and-coming Bulls who are making an impact in their careers and communities. Nominations for Outstanding Young Alumni will be accepted at a later time for an inaugural spring 2017 recognition event.
