Former USF president Cecil Mackey dies at age 89
Cecil Mackey, USF's second president, serving from 1971 to 1976, has died at age 89. Previously the U.S. Transportation Department's assistant secretary, Mackey went on to lead Michigan State from 1979 to 1985.
SBDC adds free cybersecurity training for small businesses
The Florida Small Business Development Center at USF has added cybersecurity to its menu of free and low-cost workshops for new and established business owners. The workshops are also available at state universities throughout Florida.
