The USF Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) is a premier organization comprised of students dedicated to increasing the university’s prestige, expanding connections with the community and honing their leadership skills at the highest level. Philanthropy plays an important role in the university’s success. Students selected to participate in the SPC will leverage their talents, passion and school spirit to infuse the importance of philanthropy into the USF experience for their fellow students. As a new organization, the Student Philanthropy Council presents a unique opportunity for the most driven students to build something new and leave a legacy for future generations.

Some examples of how SPC members may engage the students include:

  • Supporting USF’s annual Giving Week as liaisons to the student body
  • Promoting and leading student involvement in the annual Grateful Bulls Day
  • Educating peers on building a culture that incorporates philanthropic giving
  • Implementing a Senior Class Gift campaign

This exclusive experience is truly special. Members will enjoy:

  • Shadow Day – an opportunity to meet with Advancement professionals in order to explore potential professional opportunities in fundraising and alumni engagement
  • Semi-Annual Bulls Feast – a dinner every fall and spring that connects students with alumni who work in advancement, non-profit and philanthropy positions
