Since its inception, the USF Alumni Association has distributed more than $6 million in scholarships to USF students thanks to the generosity of alumni, faculty, staff and friends of USF. Please consider making a gift to one of the listed scholarship funds. Gifts of all sizes make a difference.

Alumni Association U Club Scholarship

The Alumni Association U Club Scholarship recognizes and assists a rising junior or senior enrolled full-time at USF whose parent or legal guardian is a current member of the USF Alumni Association. Essay and resume required.

Arete Alumni Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support to USF student members of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity with preference given to those majoring in Business, Science, Technology, Education or Engineering on all USF campuses.

Black Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship

The scholarship will provide financial assistance for a full-time student of any classification currently enrolled at the University of South Florida. The recipient must demonstrate a desire to provide continued service to the Black Alumni Legacy and the community. Essay and resume required.

Candy Creamer Shreck Scholarship

A named scholarship created in honor of Candy Creamer Schreck who was a Resident Assistant at USF is awarded to full-time students at the Tampa campus and have a 3.2 GPA or higher.  Preference given to Resident Assistants.  Essay and resume required.

Chris G. Zutes Memorial Scholarship

The Chris G. Zutes Memorial Scholarship has been established to help support graduate students who are pursuing academic initiatives in infectious disease research at the USF Florida Center of Excellence for Drug Discovery & Innovation. Essay, resume and letter of recommendation required.

The Dr. Carline Clerge- Leger Scholarship will assist under-represented, underserved students who demonstrate their commitment to excellence and who actively involved in the African American community and major is within the healthcare field. Essay and resume required.

Eileen and Andrew Hafer Scholarship

The Eileen and Andrew Hafer Ambassador Scholarship was established by Eileen and Andrew to support the USF Ambassadors program, sponsored by the USF Alumni Association. During Andrew's time at USF he served as a USF Ambassador. The scholarship will recognize a USF Ambassador whose university experience has been enhanced from being a member of the program. Heruska Family Endowed Scholarship for Entrepreneurship

The Heruska Family Endowed Scholarship for Entrepreneurship was established to by USF Alumnus Laura and Richard Heruska to support a full-time student who has started a company or are involved in entrepreneurial leadership activities.  Preference is given to juniors and seniors in the Muma College of Business. The James and Darcel Stewart Scholarship was established to assist a student with the Muma College of Business who is a first generation college student.  Preference is given to a student born in the state of Florida who is working their way through school and has a financial need. The Ambassador Scholarship was established by James and Michelle Austin, where Michelle was a USF Ambassador to recognize an active USF Ambassador that has served in the organization for at least one year and who has gone above and beyond their time contributing to the USF Ambassadors program. Jeff Wagner Finish Strong Scholarship

The Jeff Wagner Finish Strong Scholarship was established in memory of Jeff Wagner, a USF alum who passed away. Jeff Wagner loved USF and remained connected and involved with USF as an alum.  This scholarship will support a current USF student with a preference given to a student with one or more of the following attributes: Member of USF Ambassadors, Big Brother/Big Sister program, Wheelchair bound or love for sports. The John and Dawn Dittig Scholarship was established to assist an undergraduate student, with preference given to a student from the Greater Atlanta, Georgia area or the state of Georgia.  The scholarship will recognize a full-time student that has a willingness to get involved and make a positive impact at USF. Kosove Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships

The Kosove Scholarship program was established by A. Harrison and Ruth Kosove to support and encourage America’s youth in the development of educational excellence, personal integrity and leadership abilities. GPA and test score requirement, along with essay, resume and letters of recommendation.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

The MLK Scholarship was established to recognize and assist a full-time USF student enrolled at the Tampa campus who best represents the ideals and philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Essay and resume required.

Michael G. Keller Scholarship

The Michael G. Keller Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Michael G. Keller, a USF alum who passed away in 2016. Michael G. Keller was a graduate of the College of Business in 1999 as an alum, he remained involved with the College of Business and the Alumni Association. This scholarship will support a USF student majoring in Business with a preference for Business Analytics and Information Systems. Essay and resume required.

This scholarship provides annual scholarship for a freshman enrolled at USF who is from the Tampa Bay area. The selected student should be a full-time student entering their freshman year, and they may reapply for the scholarship. The recipient must demonstrate good academic achievement and personal qualities.

Michael Kevin Brewer Scholarship

The Michael Kevin Brewer Scholarship is to recognize and assist a current USF student. The scholarship will be given to student at the Junior level or higher who through the application process demonstrates academic excellence, community spirit, and articulates their passion and desire to be a positive force at USF and for the student body.

License Plate Endowed Scholarship

The License Plate Endowed Scholarship was established by funds received from the USF specialty license plate in the State of Florida. The scholarship supports a current USF student with a 3.6 GPA or higher who lives in the state of Florida.
