About the Society
The Golden Guard Society is a USF Alumni Association recognition group that honors alumni celebrating the 50-year anniversary of their first USF bachelor’s degree. The society was established in 2013 to recognize the university's charter graduates — the class of 1963. A new alumni class is formally inducted into the society at a class reunion and induction ceremony each year.
When is the next 50th Anniversary Celebration?

When am I eligible for Golden Guard Society recognition?
Alumni are recognized on the 50-year anniversary of earning their first undergraduate degree from USF.
I earned multiple degrees from USF. When will I be recognized?
If you earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from USF, your Golden Guard Society recognition is based on the anniversary of your first undergraduate degree.
If I earned only a graduate degree from USF, am I eligible for Golden Guard Society recognition?
No. Golden Guard Society recognition is reserved for alumni celebrating the 50-year anniversary of their first undergraduate degree from USF.
Can I be inducted more than once?
No. Alumni are inducted into the Golden Guard Society only once.
